Mobile Treatments

What treatments do you offer at home?

Currently, I only provide massage treatments in the comfort of your own home.

What areas do you cover?

I provide mobile treatments across Central, West, and South West London. Travel costs within these areas typically range between £10–£25.

Is the travel fee added to each booking in the household?

No. Only one travel fee is applied per household. If multiple treatments are booked at the same address, the travel fee remains the same. Turnover time between treatments is also not added to your treatment length unless it exceeds 10 minutes.

Is the booking time my start time or your arrival time?

Booking time is usually my arrival time. I always allow a 15-minute give or take, as London traffic and public transport can be very unpredictable.

Is your set-up time included in the treatment?

No. Your booking time reflects the length of the treatment only. I add approximately 20 minutes for setup and clean-up before and after the session.

If you’re late, will my treatment be shorter?

No. Your treatment time will not be reduced. I add 10 minutes to set up, but if you are not ready after this, the treatment may need to be adjusted accordingly.

Do I need to provide a parking space for you?

No, parking is not required.

I live on the 3rd floor with no lift, is this a problem?

Not at all, but please let me know in advance so I can plan accordingly.

Do I need to prepare anything?

I bring the massage bed and oils. I ask clients to provide:

  • One pillow
  • Two large towels
  • A blanket or additional towel for coverage and comfort

If you’re having a pregnancy massage, please provide a pregnancy pillow.

Please note: some oils may transfer to towels, blankets, or pillows. I cannot take responsibility for stains, so please choose items you’re happy to use.

What should I wear during a mobile massage?

For women, I provide disposable underwear, or you are welcome to wear your own. For men, please wear your preferred choice of underwear. You will always be appropriately draped for privacy, and only the area being treated will be uncovered.

Do you bring a card machine?

No. Payment can be made in cash on the day, or via bank transfer within 24 hours using the details provided.

Pregnancy and Post Natal Treatments

Are you qualified to perform pregnancy massages?

Yes, I hold specialist pregnancy massage qualifications and have extensive experience working with expectant mothers.

Is it safe to have a treatment during pregnancy?

Yes, treatments are generally safe during the 2nd and 3rd trimesters, provided there are no contraindications.

Can everyone have treatments during pregnancy?

All clients should check with their doctor or midwife before booking a treatment. Every pregnancy is different, and this ensures both you and I feel comfortable and safe during the session.

What position will I be in during the treatment?

Most treatments are performed on your side, though some may be done in an inclined position with additional support to maximise comfort and safety.

What if I don’t feel comfortable?

The treatment is fully focused on you. You have total control over your position, and if anything feels uncomfortable or not right, we will adjust immediately.

I still feel nauseous despite being in my 2nd trimester, what can I do?

If any position, scent, or aspect of the treatment makes you feel unwell, please let me know. We will rearrange the setting to ensure your comfort at all times.

How late in my pregnancy can I have a treatment?

If there are no contraindications, treatments can be safely performed right up until the end of your pregnancy. I particularly encourage lymphatic drainage, especially if you have a C-section scheduled, as it can support recovery afterwards.

How soon after a C-section can I have a massage?

As I hold post surgery lymphatic drainage qualifications, lymphatic drainage can be performed as soon as after surgery, with your doctor’s approval. Muscular massage is usually safe after your 6 week check, and full body deep tissue massage is generally recommended after 12 weeks postpartum.

How soon after a natural labour can I have a massage?

Lymphatic drainage can be done at any time after birth. Muscular massages can be done sooner, but I usually recommend waiting until postpartum bleeding has stopped. Recovery is very individual, and your general wellbeing plays a crucial role in determining the best timing for treatment.

How often should I have massages during and after pregnancy?

This is very individual, as everyone has different needs and concerns. Some clients prefer weekly treatments, while others come monthly. I always encourage you to listen to your body and choose what feels right for you. If you’re unsure, I’m always happy to advise and have a chat.

If you are having a C-section, I would recommend at least one session prior to your surgery where possible, followed by a few sessions afterwards on a weekly basis to support recovery.

How is post-surgery lymphatic drainage different from the regular treatment you offer?

Post surgery lymphatic drainage is adapted to support healing after procedures such as a C-section. I perform this treatment using additional PPE to ensure extra safety and minimise any risk of cross contamination, as post surgical care requires a more careful and considered approach.

The techniques used on the abdomen are similar in principle but much gentler, focusing on reducing swelling, supporting recovery, and encouraging lymph flow without placing stress on healing tissues. In the later stages of recovery, gentle scar work may also be introduced as appropriate.

I am breastfeeding, can I have a massage?

Of course you can. In the early days of parenthood, we usually take each session as it comes, as things can be unpredictable. That is completely fine, we will simply adjust for any unplanned feeds and ensure you are positioned comfortably so the treatment can continue as smoothly and efficiently as possible.

In later stages, if you find it uncomfortable to lie on your front, we can use additional towels for support or perform the treatment in a side lying position to ensure your comfort at all times.

Do I need a doctor or midwife approval before booking?

Yes, I always recommend checking with your doctor or midwife before booking, especially if you have any complications or high risk factors, to ensure the treatment is suitable for you.

Can pregnancy massage help with swelling and water retention?

Yes, lymphatic drainage can be very beneficial in helping reduce swelling, support circulation, and ease water retention commonly experienced during pregnancy.

Can pregnancy massage induce labour?

No, pregnancy massage is not designed to induce labour. Treatments are focused on relaxation, comfort, and supporting your body safely. There are certain pressure points that are believed to be linked to contractions, however I avoid working on these areas during treatment unless a client is full term and specifically requests this approach. That said, there is no guarantee that massage or any specific technique will induce labour.

I am going through IVF, can I have a treatment?

Yes, treatments can often be enjoyed during IVF, however this depends on your individual situation and stage of treatment. I always recommend checking with your fertility specialist or doctor before booking to ensure it is suitable for you.

There are certain stages within the IVF process where I may advise pausing treatments as a precaution, depending on where you are in your cycle and overall guidance from your clinic. Once it is appropriate to proceed, I will always tailor the treatment carefully to support your comfort, relaxation, and overall wellbeing.

I have just had a miscarriage, can I have a massage?

I am very sorry for your loss. In this situation, I always recommend checking with your doctor or healthcare provider before booking any treatment, as your body and recovery will need time and individual consideration. When you feel ready and have been given medical clearance, treatments can be adapted gently to support rest, comfort, and emotional wellbeing.

Can I have a treatment after recent medical procedures related to fertility or pregnancy, and when is it safe?

Yes, absolutely. Treatments can often be adapted depending on your stage of recovery. We will always proceed gently and tailor everything to what feels appropriate and comfortable for you, based on medical guidance where needed.
